Triple Packed Products
Triple packed products are used where
sterile transfer of products is essential. With single packaging,
contamination adhering to the outside of the bag can be carried into
clean room areas. Therefore all single packed materials must be wiped
clean with 70 % alcohol or other disinfectant. Triple packed products
eliminate the need for such cleaning procedures, prevent contamination
from reaching high sensitive production areas, simplify handling and
reduce processing time. Greiner Bio-One triple packed products are
packed in three individual peel bags. The inner bag is labeled with the
relevant product information, LOT number and expiry date. The peel bags
are increasing in size, to prevent double weld seams and damage of the
next inner bag during handling. To guarantee maximal sterility all
Greiner Bio-One triple packed products are sterilised with a SAL of 10-6.
